MSU UARC is shutting down effective June 30, 2021. We are no longer taking on new projects.

Usability & Accessibility of Outdoor Recreation Websites

The goal of the project was to enhance the US Army Corps of Engineers Natural Resources Management (NRM) Gateway by making recommendations based on feedback from the Corps and non-Corps community regarding the development of knowledge management features for the Visitors Page, also known as the Corps Lakes Gateway. We conducted a series of usability evaluations of the Corps Lakes Gateway with blind, low vision, dyslexic, and sighted adults to access and improve the usability and accessibility of an outdoor recreation website for visitors with disabilities.
