Usability Evaluation of Accessible Mobile Voting UI
A prototype based on the Accessible Mobile Voting System User Interface Specification was created for usability testing. Usability evaluations were conducted with individuals with low vision, dexterity impairments, dyslexia, and no impairments. Results of the study inform user interface designers, election officials, voting system manufacturers, and the general public on the specific needs of different user groups and design considerations for a universal mobile voting interface.
